How bad did these places sound?

In Hawaii, we had the Acoustically Perfect Kaiser Aluminum Dome At The
Hilton Hawaiian Village. The APKADATHHV was undoubtely one of the worst
sounding rooms I have ever been in. Concerts there sounded like they
were taking place in a huge oil drum.

This looks like some attention was paid at at least dealing with some of
the flutter echo with curtains, though I am curious how effective that was.
